The first showing of the March of Time documentary on the College will occur on May 19 at the Associated Harvard Clubs meeting in Chicago.
Peter Pratt '40, secretary of the Alumni Association, said yesterday that the movie will not be in final form until this summer because of shots to be taken at Commencement. Pratt added that the Chicago showing of the 25-minute picture will otherwise be complete including narration.
The movie crew concentrated this week on taking informal pictures of the Housemasters and their activities. After spring vacation, they will return to take some outdoor shots of the spring sports, especially crew.
The College plans to make extensive use of the movie in its admissions work. Other Ivy League schools have similar films.
