Newspapermen from Canada, Australia, and New Zealand will compete for three Associate Nieman Fellowships next year, the University announced yesterday.

Financed by the Carnegie Corporation, the Fellows will have the same opportunities as the Nieman Fellows, in their year of residence at the University.

Committees of newspapermen to nominate Fellows have been set up in Canada and New Zealand, and one will be formed in Australia. Like the Nieman Fellows, the Dominion newspapermen will come to Harvard on leave of absence from their papers for the year.
