For the fourth straight year, a Chicago Tribune reporter has come to Harvard to investigate possible Communist activities. William Fulton reached Cambridge yesterday and will remain for several days before going to Yale.
Fulton is particularly interested in the "Reducators" list, the different undergraduate political clubs, and the Lawyers Guild, which was recently named as a "Communist front organization."
An annual series of articles by Eugene Griffin on "leftist" at Harvard has appeared in the Tribune for the last three years. Griffin last spring stated that the University was losing alumni gifts because of the faculty's left wingers and the notoriety brought to the name of Harvard by such former students as Alger Hiss.
