Girls were pants and cut in on men at Lowell House's reverse-procedure Jolly Up last night.
The only wry note in the otherwise gala affair, it was claimed, came from the master of one of the other Houses, who phoned to say the Jolly Up was an "outrage to Harvard College," Parietal rules were waived for the dance, which was the first Jolly Up parody anyone could remember.
Although only 17 of the invited 50 girls appeared, upper 'E' entry's 13 "hostesses" agreed that the dance had noticeably improved their relations with the Annex. "Radcliffe girls are gamer than anyone suspects," said John Steinhart '51.
