James E. Bacon of Wilmette, Illinois, and Winthrop House, will captain the Crimson's national championship squash team next year. Bacon, who played fourth, fifth, and sixth positions on the varsity this year, was elected yesterday.
The new captain lost only to Yale in intercollegiate competition and ended the season with an 'A' league record of 8 and 1. In the nationals at Chicago, he won two out of three matches. Bacon also played several times in 'B' competition.
