Hugo Talks on Epic and Novel; Wilder Stays Out 2 More Weeks

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Howard E. Hugo, instructor in General Education, will take the place of Thornton Wilder, Charles Eliot Norton Professor of Poetry, in Humanities H lectures today and Thursday. Wilder has been bedridden in Stillman Infirmary for two weeks with an injury to his sacroiliac.

Although Wilder can walk now, his doctor, Charles F. Walcott '26, expects that he won't be able to return to his "Epic and the Novel" course for at least two more weeks. A conference of section men will meet today to determine the program of the course after Hugo finishes.
