Coach Roberts' Yardling skaters will wind up their season today when they meet an experienced Eli freshman team at 2 p.m. in the New Haven Arena.
Captain Wally Kilrea and left wing Leigh Quinn provide the Bulldogs with a powerful scoring attack. For the Crimson, Captain Norm Wood, Jeb Bray, and Dick Clasby will be vying for season scoring honors.
The Crimson skates into the game with 11 wins, one tie, and four losses; Yale boasts four wins and two losses.
Comparative scores indicate a very close game. Speedy Boston College outscored both teams: the Yardlings, 6 to 5, and the Elis, 5 to 3. St. Paul's accounted for Yale's other loss when they overwhelmed the Bulldogs, 5 to 1. The prepschoolers edged the Yardlings, 7 to 5.
