Bathrooms, New Roof For Radcliffe Library

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Lavatories and a new roof are planned for the Radcliffe Library next summer. Half of the $100,000 anonymous gift received last December, which the 47-year-old leaking roof helped the Annex get, will be used for these repairs.

The other $50,000 will be funded for General Education books, head librarian Ruth Porrit said last night.

Radcliffe still has more books, 110,000, than Lamont Library's 80,000, but many of these are research materials, and in less demand than the carefully planned collection at Lamont.
