The varsity 'B' squash team increased its 'B' League lead yesterday, downing M.I.T., 4 to 1, at Hemenway Gym. The freshman 'D' team also won, defeating Brooks School, 4 to 1, on the same courts.
The freshman 'C' squad will play for the state 'C' League championship this afternon at 4:30 on the Hemenway courts against the Milton-Hoosic Club. The yearlings shaded the same team, 3 to 2, last week on the losers' courts in the first of a home-and-home series for the league title.
The freshman summary: Kramer (BS) defeated Rauh, 3-2; White (H) defeated Soby, 3-0; Reynolds (H) defeated Landers, 3-0; Bossart (H) defeated Herrera, 3-0; Lanier (H) defeated Prudhomme, 3-0.
