Crimson squash captain Henry Foster led the 'A' team to a narrow 3 to 2 win over the Union Boat Club Blues yesterday on the Boat Club's courts by blanking Harold Kaese, number one ranking player in the state 'A' League, 3 to 0.
The team's victory assures them of at least third place in the 'A' League. The 'B' team, currently leading their league, takes on the Harvard Club 'Reds' today in an attempt to avenge its only loss.
The varsity 'A' summary: Foster (H) defeated Kaese, 3-0; Pendergast (UBC) defeated Clark, 3-2; Nawn (H) defeated Wightman, 3-2; Ufford (H) defeated Tompkins, 3-2; Livingston (UBC) defeated Bacon, 3-2.
