Wilbur K. Jordan, president of Radcliffe, joined 29 other presidents and deans of women's colleges yesterday in advocating a conference to discuss the voluntary registration of all women with the Department of Defense to alleviate the manpower problem caused by the National Emergency.

The resolution of the educators stipulated that the bulk of womanpower should be directed toward maintaining standards in the teaching profession, the family and in social service.
