Stillman Reports Flu Epidemic Has Abated

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The influenza situation at Stillman Infirmary remained about the same yesterday as it has been for the last three days.

Some people came in during the weekend; some people left. The total stayed at approximately 40 students confined because of the virus-caused disease.

Meanwhile, the disease was spreading south at a rapid pace. The Boston Braves were unable to work out yesterday in Brandentown, Florida, as flu struck down three key players. It was rumored that Ted Williams had a mild case of influenze and was being treated by trainer Jack Fadden.

However, the national epidemic seems to be subsiding as no large increases are reported.
