Two draft-exempt Marine Corps summer officer training programs will open for applicants next Tuesday morning, Major Alexander A. Elder, associate professor of Naval Science, announced yesterday.
The Platoon Leader Class, involving two six-week summer camp stints, is open to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. An 18-week Officer Candidate Class is open only to seniors and graduates. Twenty-twenty uncorrected vision is required for both programs.
Students should apply either Tuesday or Thursday morning, or Wednesday or Friday afternoon at the Naval R.O.T.C. headquarters.
