"Struggle in Europe" is the topic of the second program of the Law School's spring forum series at 8 p.m. tonight at Rindge Tech. The program is a sequel to last term's forum on the clash of interests and ideas in Asia.
Speakers William L. Shirer, William H. Chamberlin, Chester E. Merrow, and Ales Bebler will try to evaluate the support and allies which the U.S. will have in time of danger. Donald C. McKay, professor of History, will be moderator. The last part of the program will be broadcast over WHDH.
Chamberlin, former lecturer at the University, has written several books in Russia and Europe, his latest being, "America's Second Crusade." Radio commentor Shirer wrote "Berlin Diary," an account of Hitler's war preparations. Its sequel, "End of a Berlin Diary," is a survey of the German people in defeat.
Bebler is deputy foreign minister of Yugoslavia and was last summer's delegate to the U.N. Security Council. Congressman Merrow (R-N.H.) is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
