The varsity fencers will face Columbia today in New York. After a staggering 22 to 5 defeat by Army, the swordsmen will attempt a better showing against the New Yorkers, a team which has already defeated the Army this season.
Coach Peroy is not too hopeful of licking the Lions, but thinks that his charges will do better than against the Cadets. He is unable to explain the team's poor showing against an average Army team which edged last year's Crimson fencers by only one point, 14 to 13.
