Secretary of Agriculture Charles F. Brannan yesterday named an agricultural mobilization policy board of 15 permanent members, including Seymour Harris, professor of Economics, and John D. Black, Henry Lee Professor of Economics.
The board will advise primarily on problems concerning manpower in relation to the national emergency, allocation of machinery, and fertilizer production and distribution.
Two Boards Joined
Two existing committees make up the policy board: the four-man commodity credit corporation advisory committee of which Harris is a member, and the 11-man agricultural research policy committee, on which Black serves as one of three "public members."
