Conant's Book

Politicians and research workers can no longer ignore each other, President Conant said at a press conference called in New Haven yesterday to announce his new book, "Science and Common Sense."

"Whether we like it or not," the President said, "we live in a period when government must be increasingly aware of science and science in government."
