The United States should support communism in Asia and South America, Vera Micheles Dean, foreign affairs analyst, told a small crowd in the New Lecture Hall last night.
She explained that the alternative is "reactionary, personal dictatorships." The Communists, she said, would bring "reforms" to those areas. But she stressed that the United States should try to stop aggression in the world.
The talk was sponsored by the Liberal Union and the Radcliffe chapter of Students for Democratic Action.
