Strings Attached: How Harvard’s Wealthiest Alumni Are Reshaping University Giving
Lack of funds has not cancelled University plans for repainting and repairing the South entry of Thayer Hall, Charles A. Roberts, superintendent of buildings and grounds, said yesterday.
Marcus W. C. Gregory '54 (at right), who has been catching dripping water from a bathroom above for several weeks now, was glad to hear this. Students in Thayer South have been signing a petition complaining that repairs now being made in the North and Middle entries would not be extended to their end of the dormitory.
Repairs Scheduled
"I don't know where they got their information," Roberts said. He stated that a work crew will be assigned to Thayer South sometime next week, when repairs now under way on Dudley Hall are completed.
