Eight candidates were quietly elected as House representatives to the Student Council last night. None of the elections were really close with about 200 student voting in each House and Dudley. Chairman of the Class Affairs Committee, Benjamin F. McDonald '52, termed this a "fair turnout."
Those chosen were Joel T. Camche '54 from Adams; Joseph H. Soble '53 from Dudley; Michael G. Yamin '53 from Dunster; Robert S. Bolt '53 from Eliot; Thomas E. Everhart '53 from Kirkland; Neal R. Shulman '53 from Leverett; Irving Yoskowitz '53 from Lowell; and John F. Tulenko '54 from Winthrop.
Today is the last chance to run for one of the our class Council representatives--two from the junior and senior classes. Petitions of 25 signatures are due by 5 p.m. at Phillips Brooks House. Elections will be held in the Houses December 14, with Dudley voting December 13 as well.
