Two Harvard centers, Buddy Lemay and Bainy Frothingham, were the only Crimson representatives on the Associated Press' All-East squad. Lemay was named to the second offensive team and Frothingham received honorable mention.
Conspicuous by his absence from the squad was Dick Clasby. The Ivy League's third best offensive back failed even to receive honorable mention in a group which included three Dartmouth backs, a sophomore from Brown by the name of John Orton, and a young man named Smith from Princeton.
