Schlesinger Wants Strong Arm in East

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"The ideal thing for the East is for the Americans to go in and clean out the corruption. On the other hand, if the people there want assistance, but no intervention, it is impossible to do that," said James R. Schlesinger '50, teaching fellow in Economics, at the Law School Coffee Hour yesterday.

Schlesinger, speaking about "Arab and Arab Nationalism," said that the establishment of the Israelian State has done vast damage to the Middle-Eastern balance of power.

About 150 people attended the meeting.
