Annex Airs Plans for Freshman Committee

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Radcliffe's Student Council discussed plans for a freshman class committee to replace the present system of electing seven class officers at yesterday's meeting.

Many members had suggested the committee plan, feeling that this system would give more freshmen a chance to work in class and all-college activities.

Dele Gilmore '53 was appointed to investigate the problem of parking spaces for resident and commuter students. At present, only seven spaces are available in the Quadrangle.

Because of the rash of joint activities taking place at both Harvard and the Annex, including dances and theatrical productions, Council members decided to try coordinating enough groups at both colleges to make a joint calendar in order to avoid conflicting dates.
