Union Committee Will Finance Yard weekly

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first issue of a new freshman newspaper will appear on January 13, a spokesman for the editors announced last night. The paper will be a mimeographed weekly appearing every Sunday and will be financed by the Union Committee.

The spokesman denied that the paper was a revival of last year's "Yardling terming it a "new creation." He said that "unlike its predecessor which was simply an organ for the Union Committee, the new sheet would fight the policies of the CRIMSON, the Student Council and the Union Committee." It will also carry news of freshman sports and other announcements of general interest.
