Policemen Grab Parked Cars From Snow Covered Streets

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Parked cars disappeared from the streets last night as the first snow of the year cloaked Cambridge. Snow plows went into action at midnight to combat the fall, which was expected to reach eight inches. In line with a city ordinance, all autos obstructing the plows were towed away.

Lieutenant William Nixon of the Cambridge Police Department said last night that missing autos could be claimed at the Ellery Street Garage, 418 Broadway. Owners must pay the towing costs.
