Dr. C. Guy Lane, professor of Clinical Dermatology, emeritus, at the Harvard Medical School was elected president of the American Academy of Dermatology and Syphilology, at the Academy's annual convention in Chicago Wednesday.

Dr. Lane was head of the Department of Dermatology at Harvard, and chief of that department at the Massachusetts General Hospital, for many years.
