Lowell Wins Over Adams, Leverett

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Lowell dominated yesterday's inter-House athletics, winning both A and B league basketball games from Leverett, and blanking Adams' week hockey squad. Bitsy Grant led the Bellboys' pucksters as he sank five goals in the 8 to 0 romp.

With the score knotted 32 all at the end of regular play, Lowell's Ted Briggs sewed up the A league game in overtime as Leverett lost, 35 to 33. Tony Barry, of Lowell, was the game's high scorer and Bill Curran sparked the Bunnies with accurate set shots.

In the B game Lowell again squeezed by Leverett, 29 to 28, Gil Eisner of the winners being top man with ten points.

Dudley defeated Kirkland in the A circuit, 41 to 34. The losers' Tom Everhart dumped in 14 points to lead the scorers. Kirkland's B squad slopped by the Commuters in a slow game, 31 to 20. The Deacons' Bill Aldrich showed the way with nine points.
