Princeton Committee Predicts Fewer Freshman Scholarships

Princeton will no longer be able to accept applicants to the freshman class on a scholarship basis only, regardless of financial need, the Scholarship Committee announced yesterday.

In a report to President Harold W. Dodds, the Committee stated that unless funds can be found to balance the student aid budget, close to $50,000 will have to be cut from scholarship grants.
