'55 Debating Society Selects David Halperin for President
The Freshman Debating Society elected David A. Halperin president at its weekly meeting last night. Other officers chosen were: Jack C. Wilber, vice-president; Stephen G. Brush, corresponding secretary; Alan R. Schwartz, recording secretary; and Ralph I. Petersberger, treasurer.
Final plans were announced at the meeting for two debates between members of the society and candidates for the Varsity Debate Council.
