Open, which plays as the visiting team in this afternoon's Inter-House All-Star game in the Stadium, got in its licks first.
Three Open favorites put in personal appearances: head coach Dike Hyde former Kirkland player Slug Dolas, and Elihu Open himself.
Closed College, represented by even too athletic and high-spirited supporters, took the stand immediately thereafter, accompanied by a full-scale band and cheerleading squad.
Closed greeted enthusiastically the appearances of Head Coach Jerry Kanter, former Kilot football star Joks McNamara, and their illustrious founder Elihu Closed.
