Robert A. Hall, Yale's director of Athletics, resigned late last night, according to editions of this morning's Yale News. The News issue stated that Hall was forced out because of adverse criticism of his "de-emphasis" policies.
Most of the Board of Athletic Control went with the director, according to the story. Hall himself was unavailable for comment early this morning.
