Word from behind the locked gates at the Stadium yesterday was that Coach Lloyd Jordan was working on a few 'special things" as he sent his football squad through its second pre-Yale game workout.

Last year Jordan held similar closed practices, and against Yale, the Crimson showed new defensive alignments with new personnel which, in part, accounts for the team's surprisingly good showing. The emphasis yesterday was on offense, with a liberal amount of contact work.
