Square Dons Christmas Dress

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With hundreds of thousands of the nation's turkeys yet alive, floral Christmas decorations went up in the Square yesterday. The greenery was preceded by wiring for colored lights last week.

All the bills for the Square's holiday makeup will be paid by the Harvard Square Businessmen's Association, city electrician Vincent L. Moynihan said last night.

"We expect to put up a few trees later on. Moynihan said. "But that's all, that's all."

B. D. Boss and Company is handling the Businessmen's project.

Although city philthanthrophists may be rushing the season a bit, they are still behind the activities in greater Boston.
