Rhode Island Quintet Defeats Varsity in Scrimmage, 76-65

The varsity basketball team scrimmaged with Rhode Island University last night at the Blockhouse, and lost, 76 to 66, in - the regulation time. The two squads continued to play for two extra periods as both coaches experimented with new lineups.

Norm Shepard's Crimson team looked improved in its first outside scrimmage. A unit of five sophomores worked well together, and the squad's offense in general outstripped its defense.
