Allocations of $96,205 for the School of Public Health and $95,000 for the Medical School were among last year's grants for medical research by the Common wealth Fund, according to the organization's annual report released yesterday.
The report showed that $1,008,242 of the fund's $2,879,383 in grants made during the fiscal year ending June 30,1951 was allotted for studying the improvement of medical schools. Cornell's Medical College together with the Society of the New York Hospital received the largest single medical education grant.
