Ivy Network Convention Airs Plans For Program Exchange, NBC Tieup

Delegates from six Ivy League college radio stations met in Cambridge over the weekend for the Ivy Network's semi-annual convention. The Network's University outlet, WHRB, played host to representatives from Cornell, Dartmouth, Pennsylvania, Princeton, and Yale.

Projects discussed included plans for the exchange of drama and "live" music programs between member stations by means of tape recordings. The convention also accepted a contract under which the Ivy stations would broadcast the nationally-heard "Philip Morris Play house" over specially installed telephone lines from the National Broadcasting Co.
