First Year Law Men Ponder Pending Case

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Five hundred and twenty-five first year Law students have for two weeks been brooding over a high-powered AT-6 plane which buzzes a beach and disturbs an allegedly sensitive young man. Just how far the young man would get in a suit against the pilot will be determined October 11, when the First Year Law test case will be tried.

The trial, in which every First Year Law student will participate--either as a plaintiff or defendant--will be hold in the Langdell Courtroom. District Court Judge Sweeney will try the case, while Richard Field will be counsel for the defense, and Arthur Sutherland will act as counsel for the plaintiff.

The test case, designed to give First, Year students and insight into actual court procedure, has been hashed over in section meetings for two weeks.
