Music Dept. Will Offer Symphony Broadcasts

On the assumption that few men have FM radio sets in their rooms, the Music Department has invited students to listen to broadcasts of Friday afternoon Boston Symphony concerts at Paine Hall.

A. Tillman Merritt, chairman of the Department, said last night that his department has acquired an FM set from Edward A. Taft '04 three years ago which provides "excellent reception." He asked that listeners get to their seats before 2:15 p.m., the starting time of the concerts.
