McGill Cracks Down On Canadian Capers

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Because too many students are flunking out, McGill University of Montreal will undergo an abstention week from November 19 to 25, University officials announced recently.

No undergraduate extra-curricular activities will be held. The McGill Daily will stop publishing. And everyone will stay in his room and study.

The Student Council went along with the plan to "alleviate the tension built up in students during participation in extra-curricular activities and allowing more time to study, and giving a respite to weary students."
