Varsity, '55 Harriers Face Dartmouth Away

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Varsity and freshman cross country teams face Dartmouth today on the Green's home course. Both meets are considered a toss-up by acting coach Bill McCurdy.

Dave Gregory will lead the varsity, and the script, as usual, pits the Crimson captain against one of the top runners of the East, Stan Smiley. Supporting Gregory will be Hal Gerry, Dave Cairns, Emil San Souci, Hugh Maguire, and Bruce Phillips

In addition to Smiley, Dartmouth has two strong sophomores in Mike Morrison and Walt Clarkson and a capable senior in George Rosenberg. In last year's meet Smiley beat Cairns and Gregory by over a minute.
