Tailback Dick Clasby ran in the first, second, and third-string backfields at yesterday's football practice, thereby providing an air of mystery to an otherwise routine workout.
After the practice Coach Lloyd Jordan did little to clear up Clasby's status. Asked if he thought the hard-running sophomore would share the tailback position with Bill Healey tomorrow against Dartmouth, Jordan said, "Yes, if he's ready." Clasbey is apparently still bothered by a bruised hip.
Defensive halfback Art French has only a very slight chance of getting into the Dartmouth game at all because of a twisted ankle. Otherwise the squad is in good physical shape.
