Freshman and varsity hockey candidates get their first official chance to meet the coaches tonight at a 7:15 p.m. meeting in the Varsity Club. Myles Huntington '50, the new Yearling coach, and the varsity's Ralph "Cooney" Weiland will discuss plans for practice schedules and training programs.
Huntington starred at center ice for the Crimson; Weiland's methods have been highly praised by Boston sports-writers and scholastic coaches.
The varsity has been holding informal, unofficial practice sessions all month.
