World War II Memorial to Be Dedicated Armistice Day

The University's World War II memorial plaque in Memorial Chapel will be unveiled on Armistice Day, Sunday November 11, but there will be no special dedication ceremonies. A special memorial service honoring Harvard's war dead was held last spring, and in the future the University has decided to forego any outside speakers or unusual events.
