Charity Drive 2nd Day Nets $8,708; Yard Tops $3,000

Contributions to the Combined Charities Drive yesterday the second day of the campaign, totaled $8,708.50. Monday's donations amounted to $8,171. The two-day total is $16,879.50, which is only about $200 less than last years grand total.

The Yard's share of the day's contributions was $3,389. Lowell again led the Houses with $1,827, while Eliot gave $1,345; Winthrop, $1,176; Kirkland, $1,014; Adams $938; Dunster, $937; Leverett, $681.50; and the "outhouses," $401.
