Crimson Runs From T With Clasby Still Out

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Following yesterday's practice session Lloyd Jordan took a large sheaf of Army game papers from the top of his desk and put them in a drawer. "Well, we're through with that one," he said, "let's get the next one on the schedule."

Out on the field during the afternoon he had sent two T formation backfields against the junior varsity for more than an hour, and then worked some on the regular single wing plays.

The team was still minus the services of Dick Clasby, top tailback injured in the Columbia game, and Art French, a defensive halfback who injured his ankle Saturday joined him on the sidelines.

May Be Ready

It is probable that Clasby will be ready for action Saturday, but Jordan wasn't able to tell when French will return to the lineup.

As for next week, Jordan stated that the Dartmouth line was "as good as any in the Ivy League" citing its fine performance in Saturday's win over Syracuse.

The first backfield yesterday placed O'Nell at quarterback, John Tulenko and Dusty Burke at halves and John "Crusher" Culver at fullback. Jayvee Bob Gremp ran the second backfield with Brian Reynolds and Bill Healy at halfbacks and Tom Ossman at full.
