The snarling beast above has the distinction of being the only bear ever processed by Benny Jacobson's Gold Coast Valeteria, and MARK L. GOOD MAN '53, left, wonders just who took whom to the cleaners.

Goodman bagged the prize in Alaska two summers ago, and last June left Instructions with a roommate to have it stored until the fall. The Gold Coast obligingly cleaned and glazed it and yesterday presented its snarling owner with a bill for $26.
