The Radcliffe senior class decided Wednesday that it wanted to have an outdoor Commencement just like Harvard, and appointed Jane Larsen '52 to head a committee to investigate the change. Annex Commencement has traditionally been held in Sanders Theatre.
The committee will work to see what the expenses of the proposed change will be and whether permission for the change can be obtained.
Last year, when Radcliffe held its 69th Commencement, it was held in Sanders.
The approximately 100 seniors who attended the meeting in Agassiz also voted to have a senior weekend which would coincide with Radcliffe's spring weekend. Final approval for this move will be gotten by polling the senior class.
Mrs. Lucille Dow president of the Alumnae Association, spoke to the class about its future responsibilities to Radcliffe as alumnae. The Association gave each senior a key-ring.
The class decided that its departing gift will go to the grant-in-aid fund.
