On November 3, the one weekend of the autumn when there is no football game scheduled, the Varsity Club will hold an informal dance, it was decided at the Captains' meeting held last week.
The dance will be open to all varsity athletes, but not to any freshmen. Arrangements are being made and will be announced soon. The purpose of the dance is to generate interest in the Varsity Club.
The captains of all the Harvard sports, meeting with Eric Cutler '40, adviser to the group, also decided that the Varsity Club would get a television set. The TV set will be installed in the near future. Another innovation that the committee announced is that it has decided to install a snack bar, where the Crimson athletes can get between-meal sustenance.
