Dorm Thief Trial Again Postponed

The District Attorney met yesterday with four students to plan his case against James L. McLeod, alleged dorm thief. But once again the trial was postponed, this time until 10 a.m. today.

Lyman C. Sprague, assistant DA, was closeted for half an hour with William C. Duval, III '53, William R. Lamb '53, John D. Rauh '54, ad John J. Sack '51, who will identify stolen property when the case comes up.

Also present was Chief Alvin Randall of the University Police and Joseph W. Duane, who has confessed working with McLeod last term. Duane will probably testify against McLeod.

Meanwhile, Superior Court spent the day clearing its docket of other cases. Proceedings were held up when an 80-year-old witness fell sick in court, and the McLeod trial was excused until today.

The four Harvard students involved, Duval, Lamb, Rauh, and Sack, were told by the District Attorney to be at the Superior Court at 10 a.m. today.
