Yardling Booters Play Crucial Game Against Undefeated Exeter Today

The freshman soccer team may reach the turning point in its season today when it plays at Phillips Exeter Academy at 3 p.m. Both squads are undefeated to date, and Crimson coach Andrew "Poley" Guyda predicts that a win over the strong Exeters would indicate a highly successful season for his Yardlings.

Captain Mauricio Toro will be back on home ground. Toro captained the Red and Gray to a 3 to 0 victory over the Yardlings last fall.

Guyda has shuffled his team around, but has made only one change in the starting lineup: Mike Blumenfeld will play left inside, shifting Johnny Yeomans to right wing in place of Gordon Fair. Henry Pildner will start in the nets.

Exeter boast wins over Belmont High. Dartmouth and Yale freshmen, while the Crimson has defeated Tabor and Milton Academies by 10 to 1 and 2 to 1 scores.
